Liebster Award Nomination

Thank you so much to Sadje @ Keep It Alive for the nomination to the Liebster Award. Her blog always has something extraordinary, from health diets and their pros and cons, to life advice, poetry, and more!

I understand that this award is meant as an instrument to encourage and mentor new bloggers. From The Global Aussie: “The earliest case of the award goes as far back as 2011.  Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.”  The award initially focused on bloggers with less than 2000 followers, but as its popularity burgeoned, this number has gone down to 200; my blog recently passed that limit (hurray, thank you friends!) but GA says it is more of a guideline, and I thought it was very nice of Sadje to think of me, so I decided to go for it.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

If you could change your name, what would it be?
Real or Blog? For my real name: when I got my Canadian citizenship, my middle name ended up changing to my maiden name on my citizenship card (long story), but later on, I found out that I was not allowed to do that on my driver’s license, so I will probably have to change one or the other at some point. If I get to choose, I will drop my maiden name.
What was your favorite TV show as a kid?
As a young kid, The Magical World of Disney; as an older kid, The Twilight Zone
Do you have any weird habits?
Whenever I wash my hair, I always shampoo twice, regardless of how dirty it is
Do you like fall scents /tastes?
I love fall’s natural scents and tastes; I do not care for artificial versions
What is your favorite holiday and why?

Do you prefer writing it down or typing it up?
I prefer to write down to-do lists and memos, but type long texts

Netflix
If money didn’t matter, what would you do with your life?
I would not change my life much, but maybe I would publish one or two books

One of them is being organized

I am not only a half-full-glass person, but my glass is pink coloured
In a car, I prefer to be a passenger, not a driver
I am a land lover (no cruises for me)
I like to get up early and go to bed late (I have not mastered zero sleep, though)
If I could only eat two things, it would be potatoes and cheese, and my two favourite things to drink are boiled water, and coffee
I used to play racquet sports for fun, and my favourite sport to watch is American Football
