It is December already! I brought a few pots inside a few weeks ago, since we have had our first hard frost and snow fall of the season. This serrano pepper plant had some green peppers left, and a couple of days ago, I noticed they had turned bright red, just to announce the beginning of the Holiday season:
There is nothing like a graphic red and green colour scene to offset the grey and dark mood, as the days shorten in anticipation of the winter season. Now my dilemma is whether or not to harvest the peppers, maybe to prepare a nice batch of Spicy Red Sauce; it would be great to have next to a bowl of homemade tortilla chips, or pork rinds, and curl up on the couch while watching a Holiday special.
I am joining Cee’s Flower of the Day (FOTD) Challenge for Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Beautiful!
