A Veggie Merry Holiday Menu

Above: A festive bauble, made of recyclable materials (My home, 2020)

In a previous post, I shared a recipe for a vegan/vegetarian stuffing and gravy, nurturing enough to be served as a main dish.  Skipping the turkey altogether in this post, I am sharing a great all-vegetarian menu (click on highlighted text for recipes):

A Vegetarian Holiday Menu

Carved Radishes and Broccoli with Two Dips
Baked Cheese with Oregano
Leek and Potato Soup
Cheesy Baked Pasta
Russian Salad
Vegan Picadillo (Stuffing) and Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Baked Sweet Potatoes
Turrón and Mazapán Shapes
Wine, Ponche

Clockwise from bottom: Vegan picadillo (stuffing) with gravy; baked sweet potato; cranberry sauce; cheesy baked pasta; Russian salad.
Toledo Style turrones (top) and Marzipan Shapes.

I would like to  take the opportunity to wish everyone who kindly stops by my blog, and their loved ones, the best time possible this season; whether celebrating Christmas, Kwanzaa, already celebrated a major holiday, or observe none, please receive my most sincere wishes for rejoiceful  moments, peace and health, and the very best for the end of this crazy year of 2020!

I am sharing my recipes at Full Plate Thursday Christmas Edition with Miz Helen @ Miz Helen’s Country Cottage.

I am joining the fun at Caramel’s Cocktail Bar; Caramel is a wonderfully caring blogger, who is doing the right thing by isolating this Christmas due to Covid19 lockdown restrictions and, to bring some cheer to many who are doing likewise, she has decided to host a virtual party! I know that she is a vegetarian, so this menu is just perfect to share as my little contribution.  Buen provecho y salud! Bon Appétit and cheers!

I am sharing my recipes at Over the Moon #257 and 258, graciously hosted by Bev @ Eclectic Red Barn, and Marilyn @ Marilyn’s Treats.  Special thanks to Bev for featuring my Buñuelos (fried pastries) at her party here.

  2. What a lovely menu! It sounds like a delicious feast 🙂 I tried to pick a favorite but I like the sound of all of it! Maybe the baked cheese but then the dips and the Russian salad! Too much to chose from 🙂
